Chaplaincy: Mr Fishwick
Being a Catholic to me is making the minor changes in your life that will make a difference to someone, somewhere, somehow.
I was brought up in the Catholic family and attended a Catholic school until I was 18 years old but going to church was expected of me every week. It was not my choice. But since beginning teaching at our college I have come to realise the importance of my Christian identity and how it helps me to do the everyday things. The strength of your faith helps you deal with all kinds of situations from working with people to how your cope with your feelings.
You may not have a strong faith now in your teenage years but do not dismiss it because in the future it will mean a great deal.
Matthew 17:20:
I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there" and it will move.
