As a High Performing Specialist School , our main purpose is to raise standards in our college, through purposeful partnerships with, local, regional and national collaborators, and to contribute to improved opportunities and standards for young people in our area.

We have established excellence in our first specialism of Maths and Computing and added Applied Learning in 2009 as our second specialism.

As an Applied Learning School we will play a key role in taking forward the 14-19 curriculum plan, leading on the ICT diploma for Trafford and developing our vocational and academic courses into post 16 provision. We see Applied Learning as helping us realise our vision to be a world class educational establishment.

Our aim is to;

• Improve choices of routes and pathways for pupils into further and higher education.
• Provide opportunities for all students to achieve in vocational and academic courses.
• Collaborate with business, educational and community partners to enrich the opportunities available to our young people and the whole college community.
