Blessed Thomas Holford Awarded National Teaching School Status

I am delighted to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious title of National Teaching School by the National College for School Leadership. At the moment there are a small number of National Teaching Schools in London. The programme has been extended to Manchester and we are proud to be only one of three secondary schools in Greater Manchester to have been selected by a national panel.

Our school has a reputation for the excellence of its teaching and this is national recognition of our expertise. As a National Teaching School we will be expected to provide training courses for teachers from schools in the Manchester region. Of course sharing our knowledge is nothing new to Blessed Thomas Holford Catholic College and this latest accolade has made us extremely proud to have been recognised as one of the best schools in the country in teaching and learning.
